Exhort. Equip. Encourage.
May all men grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and embrace biblical manhood in all domains of life.
The Men’s Ministry of ICF seeks to equip men to live effective Christian lives and to reflect God’s glory in everything they do. For this purpose we seek to help men discover and know the liberating truth of their identity in Christ, provide opportunities for men to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, and encourage men to serve and contribute to God’s kingdom in their families, their workplaces, their communities and their church.
Weakness: (2 Corinthians 12:9-10) – Weakness is a posture of strength in the Christian life.
Ignorance: (James 1:5) – Admitting that there is still much to learn about biblical manhood.
Failure: (Romans 7:18-19) – Admitting that we regularly fail to live out biblical manhood.
Humility: (1 Peter 5:5-7) – Humble enough to admit that the rst three points are true.
Prayer: (Ephesians 6:18) – Biblical manhood is impossible without prayer.
Hope: (Psalm 71:5) – In Christ, the last word is always hope.
Gospel: (Romans 1:16-17) – The power to live out biblical manhood is founded on the Gospel.
Exhort: Define, teach, and model biblical manhood.
Equip: Provide the necessary resources to live out biblical manhood.
Encourage: Provide the necessary support to sustain biblical manhood.
We meet Fridays, 06:30 – 07:30 in the ICF Cafeteria for fellowship, food, sharing, caring, an inspirational word and small group prayer.
